Back to home

Everything seems fine today, and we took my mother home. I’m very happy to see her home again.

Biopsy

It was the time for biopsy today. We took my mother to hospital. The doctor arrived there an hour later and did the required analysis. Fortunately everything was fine and there were no risks for surgery.

They prepared my mother for surgery room, and took her there. We were all praying, praying and praying

The operation took two full hours, which was like a century for me. Finally the doctor stepped out and I talked to him about my mother’s situation. He seemed positive, and told me that he’s already sent the masses to pathology for further analysis and result will be ready in a week or so. He said that everything was fine and there shouldn’t be anything bad. What the doctor told me was a great hope, and I was feeling somehow better. But still had to wait for one more week for a certain result…

My mother was feeling a lot of pain which was natural after surgery. But we could see her getting better and better each hour passing (with decreasing amount of pain).

Mammography result

The mammography result was ready this evening, and my mother took it to doctor to see if everything is okay.

The doctor has told my mother about three masses, two in left breast and one in right, and that to be ready for a biopsy (on April 19) from left-side masses. At the same time, he’s said that there isn’t anything bad.

Later tonight I had the chance to get the mammography result and read it myself. Many medicine specific expressions and words were there, but fortunately Google was there to help.

My God!! They’ve diagnosed malignancy in left-side masses!! Not a good meaning, but seems that the doctor has not told my mom about this. I did the same and preferred to be quiet and not to answer my mother’s questions on what I read from mammography result.

Tribulation starts

It’s a while (a month or so) my mother feels something odd in her breast, but due to my already-planned wedding she decided to not tell anyone anything in that regard (Later I found out this).

Today is around 2 weeks after my wedding and my father took my mom to visit a doctor (a surgeon). The doctor was a bit suspicious and sent my mother for mammography. And she went to mammography right today for not to kill any further time. The result will be ready for tomorrow.
