The Day Before the Last Session of Chemotherapy

Just one day has been left till the last session of the chemotherapy treatment of my mother. The treatment which caused her a lot of pain both physically and morally, but hopefully will bring my mother much bigger achievement (curing her cancer).

As for the last moment news, she's still complaining a bit about the tear drops amount from her eyes, although she's regularly taken the pills the oncologist has prescribed for this. Perhaps tomorrow we should double check this with the doctor to see how else he can help us.

Calling oncologist for help

My sister called oncologist for help about the annoying tears in my mother's eyes for the whole last three days. Seemed it was a known side effect of the anti-cancer medicines and the oncologist gave the name of a drug which will help.

My mother has already taken one from these new pills, and we're hoping to see its effects soon.

Lots of Tears in her Eyes

I'd gone to visit my mother today. She didn't feel any pain in her bowel, but instead complaining about increasing amount of tears in her eyes for the whole day! She's already experienced the same problem at the previous sessions of chemotherapy as well, but this time it was really annoying her. Just imagine how horrible it can be to have tear drops for a full day!

From her previous experiences it stops after a while, so she's going to wait a while to see when it happens.

Status Report

A few days have been passed since the seventh chemotherapy session, and my mother doesn't feel so well these days (as usual of the first few days after chemotherapy). This time she mostly complains about the pain in her bowel in addition to feeling tired.

But fortunately we have the medicines from previous time when she had the same problem. And she's already taken of those pills to relief the pain, which slowly help.

Seventh session of Chemotherapy

It was the time for another session of chemotherapy today. Chemotherapy, which I'm strongly confident, will cure my mother's cancer in the case any bad cells have been left in her body after mastectomy surgery.

My dad took my mom to hospital as usual and the whole treatment didn't take more than half a day including visiting the oncologist there. The oncologist has prescribed the medicines for the last (8th) session as well, because of the not-so-fine-quality medicines recently have been imported here. Fortunately my father could buy the original quality medicines and I'm so happy about this! The last series of chemotherapy medicines they are...

Moreover, the oncologist has introduced my father to a hospital for starting the radiotherapy after chemotherapy completes! It will start three weeks after the last session of chemotherapy, and will take around one month and half. The radiotherapy will be done on every day but the weekends, and I should participate in this part as well since it will be pretty hard for my father to be it everyday.

Anyways, they were back to home by noon, but it was at evening when I went to visit my mother. She was doing fine as usual of the day of chemotherapy. And as usual, I pray and pray and wish the best for her.
