21st session of Radiotherapy
Another session of radiotherapy was held today, as part of my mother's breast cancer treatment. As well, it was the time for my mother to be visited by doctor for monitoring the treatment progress.
While everything was quite fine and satisfying as doctor said, we also got one further good news... At the end of 25th session, the doctor will visit my mother again and will recalculate the total amount of X-Rays she's received so far. If the total dose was enough, he would cancel the remaining 5 sessions as they will be unnecessary :-)
My mother is quite happy about this surprise which may result into shorter treatment period! It may seem ridiculous, but even one week of shorter treatment means a lot for my mother and for many others in such situation, I can fully understand.

15th session of Radiotherapy
Yes! Yes! My mother has received half of the required X-Ray dose so far. It was the 15th session today, and she was happy about it while constantly reminding me that she had just 15 more to go :-) Yes! Mama... Go on, strongly as always, and I pray for you!

11th session of Radiotherapy - Visiting Doctor for Sore Throat
My mother has been complaining more and more about her sore throat, and that she couldn't swallow non-watery foods easily. So today we decided to tell the doctor about this, and asking for help.
The doctor told us that it's a common side effect of radiotherapy at neck part, and prescribed an especial to-be-manually-made drug. My father has already ordered a drugstore to make it for us, and it will be ready for tomorrow. Hope it helps...

9th session of Radiotherapy
It was my turn today to take my mother to hospital to give her another dose of X-Ray as her radiotherapy treatment.
The radiotherapy itself went fine like previous times, but it seems that a new side-effect is showing its face. Since my mother is receiving X-Rays on her lymph areas on neck and under her chin as well, her throat has some pains these days. Seems the strong rays have affected the throat tissues. Hope it doesn't get any worse so that my mother can continue her treatment.

6th session of Radiotherapy
Yes, three further radiotherapy sessions have been passed since my previous post, while my mother is strongly continuing her treatments...
Today was the time to visit the doctor whom the radiotherapy sessions are done under his control. The doctor was quite positive and satisfied about the results, and we all hope that the end-result will be good as well.
The only major complain that my mother has is still the high volume of tear drops in her eyes. The good news is the doctor has assured us that it will fade away some when soon, and I pray about it.
