CT-Scan day

It was the day for abdominal CT-Scan (in Spiral form), to make sure that my mother doesn't have any tumor or such in RLL part of her abdomen. The ultrasonography result had shown something not common there, but the oncologist assured us that it's nothing to worry about.

Today, we were there on time, and the guy asked us to buy the medicines that were going to be injected or to be taken by my mother. Then he mixed some of them into a jug full of fruit juice, and told my mother to drink two glasses of it every ten minutes. It took around one hour and half and she was ready. They took her in, did the necessary injections and told me to stay out.

After five minutes, they were done and let her come out. Everything was just fine but her vein where she'd had the injections. I guess I've already told this in my previous posts, that because of injecting lots of strong anti-cancer drugs into my mother's right hand (she's done the mastectomy on her left side) many of her veins have been badly injured. Actually I can not look at them :-(

Anyways, the result will be ready for tomorrow but I couldn't stop myself from talking to the doctor there. Fortunately he told me that he didn't notice any tumor or so, but he had to analyze the taken photos accurately to be pretty sure. I told my mother about what the doctor said, to decrease her stress, while praying for the good...
